The Grammys. Oh, the Grammys. I didn't get to see the first half of the show because I was busy watching "Real Housewives of Atlanta" (That show is starting to get crazy as well). I found out about the first half of the show through social media. Now, let's get started with this conversation.
First, who is this unknown person?
According to the other blogs, this person is named Joy Villa. She is some unknown singer and artist who decided to show her support for Trump by wearing this apron/mermaid dress. This is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. The only thing I can say is that baby girl messed up her career before it even started! Apparently, she is known for doing these shenanigans at the Grammys. I guess this ZZZ-List artist is trying to do everything in her power to get some attention. Here are some previous pictures of this crazy person.
She has a nice body, but this is not the way to flaunt it. I also found some of her music on YouTube. Awful! Just awful! It is sad this is her only claim to fame. Sad baby girl, Just sad!
In other shenanigans, Cee Lo. Who told him this was okay?
First, he scares the whole world with that exploding phone so he can promote his album (which was wrong). Now, he is showing up to The Grammys as a real-life Buddha? I know he has stylists on his payroll who told him not to do this. I though Cee Lo was better than this. I guess I was wrong! I found this photo on Twitter that sums up my thoughts!
Beyonce performed. I missed her performance, but I heard a lot about her performance on social media. Everyone felt she was stiff and she didn't "bring it" like she usually does. I sat back like "people, she's ACTUALLY pregnant! She can't do that stuff when she's carrying twins!" Anyway, she looked stunning as usual.
Last, but not least, let's talk about Lil Yachty. In case you don't know who this person is (which I'm sure no one does), he is supposed to be a rapper. If you ever get a chance to listen to his songs, he does nothing but mumble. I don't know if this guy is an ambassador of Skittles or what, but I know he came to the Grammys wearing a $35K rainbow grill and a Colonel Sanders outfit! Here's the proof!
He was also in a Target commercial where he and singer, Carly Ray Jespen remade the hit song by Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock, "It Takes Two." Now, I love Target, but I am so angry they collaborated with this talentless guy, and allowed him to destroy this classic hit! Not only that, I recently found out this person is also the Creative Designer of Nautica! If you don't believe me, here's proof!
The reason I'm pissed about this is because I have a master's degree in Fashion, and almost 10 years of fashion experience, over 17 years of fine arts, and three years of graphic design experience. I have racked up so much money in student loans because of my dream to be a fashion designer and create my fashion empire, and you mean to tell me this person, who has no talent in music and no fashion experience can be the creative director of Nautica? Nautica, what is wrong? Are you trying to make your brand that relevant again that you make this guy your creative director? Why? I know I should not be envious of someone else's success, but this personally makes me angry. It's like you do not need to have talent, skills, and experience to reach the top, and you will make it far!
Well, that's my rant on the Grammys. For those of you who actually watched the show, I hope you enjoyed it. I enjoyed the tribute to Prince (it was actually nice) and the BeeGees.
Until Next Time!
