Recently, during a runway show during NYFW, a pregnant model showed her bare stomach on the runway, and apparently everyone in is in shock because they've never seen it before. Why is this news? Why are we treating it like it's a new trend? Didn't we see Jourdan Dunn and Miranda Kerr do the same thing?

I also remember a designer had a runway collection for pregnant women in New Orleans. This woman showing her bare stomach on the runway may have been styled differently, but this is nothing new for people to be shocked about. People weren't even this shocked when Alexander McQueen debut some pants that showed the ass cheeks, or a collection that was inspired from rape culture, so why are people shocked because a woman showed her bare stomach on the runway? Do women not supposed to show their bare baby bumps? Please help me understand. That's all I have for right now.
