Hello Everyone,
I hope all is well with you all. I’ve been doing a lot of reflections lately (well…..since last year), and I realize that I’ve stuck on the wrong things when it comes to my career and accomplishments. We’ve just celebrated Christmas, Kwanzaa has started, and New Year’s Day is right around the corner. Although 2023 was rough for me, I’m going to list the good things that happened to me:
Gained two more clients
More clients are finding about me through word-of-mouth
One client’s activewear collection is now being sold in Walmart, and was featurd in Essence magazine.
Had another interview with CanvasRebel magazine (https://canvasrebel.com/meet-ashley-love-3/)
Two of my designs were featured in the lookbook of a well-known company
Several of my former students’ swimwear collections were presented during Miami Fashion Week, and one former student’s swimsuit was featured on WGSN, which is the #1 global trend forcasting website.
Three of my former students are now in graduate school. One student is currently working towards her MFA in Fashion Design (I also helped her with her portfolio in order to be accepted into graduate school).
I’ve had my car for over a year
I’ve been in the same place of residence for over 9 years
I’m now verified on LinkedIn, and I discuss my expertise on different posts.
I’m also going to add that I will have two potential clients
I’ve been so focused on one aspect of my life that I haven’t looked at all of my accomplishments. Makes me feel proud.
Now, on to the changes.
I’ve been seeing and hearing a lot about virtual tip jars, so I decided to add one to my website. If you want to contribute, you will see it listed in the top right corner.
When you click, it will take you to the link where you can add the amount of your choice.
You can choose to donate one time, weekly, or monthly. Any amount is greatly appreciated. In addition to adding the virtual tip jar, I’m also working on a collection to promote on LinkedIn. I see now that LinkedIn is the place to find potential clients.
As always, thank you for your support
Until Next Time!
