Yesterday was the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, better known as the Met Gala. If you are unfamiliar with this black-tie event, it is held the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute. Each year, a theme is picked, and well-known celebrities and fashion's elite dress up in this theme. It is also known as "party of the year" and "the Oscars of the East Coast." This year, the institute paid homage to Japanese designer, Rei Kawakubo, and as always, the stars did not disappoint. I'm going to show my favorite looks from tonight's gala.
